WARNING : THIS IS A SUPER LONG POST
Credits to Aaron Loo for organising a wonderful , efficient and trouble free trip.
Credits to Xuan, Rain, Qian, and KG (aka Cecilia) for their cameras.
A combined 927 photos were taken. (a Guinness World Record for no. of photos taken in 3 days) So it was tough selecting only 90 to post here.
I guess when going on a trip with a group of friends, it is important to put the group first before any individual. Despite a small conflict which greatly disappointed me, it was quickly settled before it threatened to get worse.
Significantly, compared to Langkawi and Genting before this, this Redang trip was refreshingly relaxing. So much happened. So much was spilled so much so, that it was difficult even for me to digest so much vital information in just 3 days.
Day 0
9 of us, Aaron, Xuan, KG, SK, Qian, Yoon, Rain, Abigail, and Mun Teng (excluding me), gathered in Subang before taking KTM to the PUTRA station, where our bus terminal was situated. Our bus pushed of at 11pm, and the driver drove at great speed, and we arrived at Kuala Terengganu at 6am despite stopping for 2 long breaks.
and Rain too, which left me with a sore back the next day
Apparently, SK thought he was as light as those 2 girls, and jumped on my back, pushing both of us down in the process, and stepped on my specs accidentally.
SK looking shocked as I showed him my broken specs
SK still looking shocked
Not knowing what to do, SK pleaded for frustration in order to pay reduced compensation. Lol
And so I was partially blinded for the rest of the trip, depending only on my minimally powered shades. I appreciate those who were nice enough to guide me through :)
Day 2
Unfortunately, due to the alcohol reaction and my bad back, I decided it was best not to take part in the following day's snorkeling activities.
While waiting for Aaron to do his shopping
It was getting hot
SK licking Mun Teng who was licking Rain who was looking at her photos
I knew by wearing this shades, I would be getting so much attention
Aaron & Mun Teng
This section comprises of photos featuring me. Hehe
The ferry came at 12pm,
and so,
We reached KT at 2.30pm, and our flight home is at 9.10pm, so we had time to kill. Not exactly exciting when you're in KT.
This is the only McD in Terengganu
Aaron's so hungry, he ate a burger and an ice cream at the same time
Goes to show how small and sleepy KT is
Chinatown
A temple in Terengganu!
KG ('Cecilia') told us the lamest anti-climatic non-joke-sounding joke I've ever heard. It goes..
Ah Ming : Abu, where have you been all this while?
Abu : UK
Ah Ming : Wah, United Kingdom?
Abu : No, Ulu Kelang
Guess the reaction. Is it..
Reaction A
The flight back was only 45 mins. Anti-climatic. Haha. Considering our 8 hour bus ride. All in all, Redang was great great fun!
p.s. Back home, my mom told me some robbers with parangs was shot dead by police 10 metres away from my house. Sigh, back to reality....
