Awal Muharam is my favourite holiday of the year, because its the most meaningless (Warning: Racist). I took the opportunity to do some minor spring cleaning of my room, before I head to Ipoh. And guess what I found? A stack of pictures of her, and us together. She looked so sweet in uniform. And our little notebook which we used to pass notes in class and write love letters... and..

GAHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm off to Ipoh tomorrow for a work assignment, with 2 female colleagues.
My heart is filled with anxiety, not knowing what to expect. But I'll just be optimistic I guess, and the job will be over in a blink of an eye.

Anyway, doctor said I was too stressed, and lack sleep, which is why I was down with stomach infection last week. I guess I've been working a little bit too hard. With the internship going on, and the business as well. Sooo, I've decided to take a little break, and do this simple video.

I used the song 'Here with Me' by MercyMe, in the first part, inspired by a Cristiano Ronaldo video on YouTube. The 2nd song is Just The Girl by Click 5 and the last song is Slow Motion by Third Eye Blind.

p/s. Sooo sorry Abby for initially forgetting your face in the credits ya. Hehe. It's already been edited.

Wooooodlandorrr

My client's name only has 3 O's and and an R in it actually...
Soooo, after 2 full weeks there, my daily schedule has been pretty much like this:

Majority of the days:
9.00 - Reach office
10.00 -Teammates reach office
10.00 - Briefed what to do
10.30 - Work work work (still energised)
12.30 - Energy from breakfast almost used up, slow down in work, prepare mentally for lunch
1.00 - Lunch
2.00 - Back from lunch, feel sleepy (especially if I eat rice), so chill awhile
2.30 - Recall what was the work which is supposed to be continued after lunch
3.00 - Start working (slowly)
4.00 - Rush rush work like mad
5.30 - Go back :)

Certain days:
9.00 - Reach office
10.00 -Teammates reach office
10.00 - Briefed what to do
10.30 - Work work work (still energised)
1.00 - Lunch
2.00 - Back from lunch
2.01 - Work work work
5.30 - Still working.....
6.00 - Still working........
6.30 - Go back :)

I was assigned to the holdings company, which ironically, seems easier. (I'm the intern mar). But I did help out my colleagues in the 3 subsidaries. Overall, I learned a whole damn lot of stuff, and what I learnt in ADA, FA1, FA2 really did help a lot. The workload can be unbearable at times, and the amount of documents/files/personnel/information missing can be frustrating (although expected). It was a good experience, being my first ever client, and the distance is only 15 mins from my house. Hahaha. But the other interns get to go Terengganu, Seremban, Sabah....

I wonder what's next.

Week 2

It's my 2nd week at I'll be spending at the client's office. The 1st week wasn't as boring as I expected it to be, cuz Ray (another intern) was here as well. But he left for another assignment.. Auditing isn't the same without him around. Haih. No more solitaire challenges. Lol.

I've never felt so out of my depth. My manager pointed out 15 mistakes I made in last week's auditing. I guess what I'm doing is pretty much different compared what the others are experiencing in EY, Deloitte JB, etc. But still, 15 is a depressing number. In the long run, things will be clearer I'm sure, as everything will be like a routine. Which is good and bad also.

I've never gained much pleasure working in Deloitte. But then again, with the exception of teaching, and maybe working with Giap, I've never gained any pleasure in any other job I did anyway. At least I had the comfort of receiving reasonable salaries, something which I can't say right now.

Every cloud has a silver lining, I suppose. After those torturous years in form 6, my brain has been automatically programmed to immediately look for any positives. True enough, there are a few. I made new friends, Ray and Samuel, I met a few hot colleagues. I enjoyed hanging out with Aaron, Jolene & Mun Teng after work. Plus, I've got a big project coming up as well. So, I guess life isn't so bad after all.

2 long months to go.

Deloitte

It's been a long time since I've blogged. But by blogging often, that'll defeat the purpose of the title of this blog (The Lazy Blogger) right? right?

Anyway, I still notice the web counter's still going up everyday, pity you poor readers, lemme give you something to read.

Today, I'm gonna blog about 3 things.

1. Exams
..
...
.....
........

2. Post Exams Celebration
..
...
.....
........

3. Internship
..
.....
........
.............

Okok. I'm not that lazy la. But I'll just talk about No. 3 now cause the less said about No.1 and No. 2, the better.

3. Internship
or Vacation Trainee as they like to call us at Deloitte
(so it sounds as if we're on vacation)

Day 1
The rest of the Big 4 firms got 2-3 days orientation, but Deloitte only 2 hours. Haih.
Nvm.
Each intern is supposed to be designated to a Manager.
But when I was shown to my manager, she don't want me. She passed me on to another lady.
I feel like an orphan kena rejected by potential parents.
Sad..
Anyway this lady, her name is Sandra. Not bad la, her looks I mean. Early 30s or late 20s.
But she told me that today, I got nothing to do.
Fine...
So I went to collect my laptop. But cannot access facebook, friendster, MSN, Soccernet.
-____-
Don't give laptop la like that.
Sit sit talk talk with the other interns till 5.30, then go back.

Day 2
I went to see Ms. L, hope to get work to do.
I gave her my no. in case she misses me, then I go sit somewhere, surf the net again.
Turns out, she misses me so much, she came to see me face 2 face. Ask me type stuff.
Then after that, asked me go sit next to her
=)
Went for dinner with Aaron and Mun Teng at Jalan Alor, then sent MT back to Ampang.
The journey to Ampang .. reminds me why I moved out of the congested place in the first place.

Day 3
I wished Ms. L Good Morning, she wished me Good Morning
Hahahaha
Did 2 Financial Reports in 8 hours.
Feels like doing FA2 assignment all over again. Which I'm thankful I did before doing this internship.
If not, Habis..
Then after lunch, Ms L said tomorrow she wanna date me! At Mont Kiara! She'll pick me up at 8.30!
Was soo happy. Finally, something.
But when I reached home, Ms L texted me, saying she wanna break up with me.
She passed me on to another auditor.
=(

Genting this Friday!!
