Benzyl Benzoate

I bet not many of you have heard of benzyl benzoate before right? right?
(Except for people who are crazy enough to take form 6 Chemistry like me)

There are five major uses for benzyl benzoate:

1. A solvent for various chemical reactions
2. A plasticizer in cellulose

3. As treatment for itchiness in horses
4. Food perservatives

Yet I'm under doctor's orders to be covered with benzyl benzoate, from neck down onwards, for the 48 hours. Why? Cause the 5th use of benzyl benzoate is to...

...

..

.

5. Treat a skin condition called scabies!

Yup, my whole family has it. It's highly contagious, but only to those who live under the same roof, yet outsiders may also contract it if they engage into sexual contact with a person who has scabies.

So, no sex for 2 days. Haha

On another note, MU played out to a draw at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea. In a match which I suppose Chelsea fully deserved to win. Why pay 30M for Berbatov and not provide him with adequate service? Sigh. The match was a pain to watch, with Chelsea dominating most of the proceedings.

Bringing on Ronaldo wasn't effective either

Which is why, instead of watching an insipid MU performance, I watched the mega-dual-episode-on-Sunday-finale of Moonlight Resonance!

Nothing to look forward anymore everyday at 9.30pm
