RM 10

Hmmm

There was a hint of surprise among NATOrians when they heard of my 'anger' and 'ferocity' when I scolded a certain someone..
Fact is, this is super mild compared to what I'm used to be capable of. Those days, my mom even wanted me to go for anger management sessions.
So, I guess it's a compliment now.

Oh, heard that our beloved Bolehland has slipped further down the corruption rankings. I guess the police force must have heard the news and are hell bent in stepping up their effort to further plunge Bolehland down the rankings by conducting a corruption session at 12am!!
So let us all contribute and make our country proud.
RM10 from me also they take one you know..
10 bucks. Really desperate.

The last couple of weeks have been super hectic, to say the least. The ice cream fund raising, NATO shirt, FA2 Assignment.
Pheww......
Plus my scabies condition ain't showing any signs of improvement just yet..
Plus, this sem, I've been skipping the most lectures since I've been in UniSA. 3 CPL lectures, Whole week of QM block lecture, FA2 lecture, F&I.. That certainly doesn't bode well for the future I guess.. But well, it's not my fault they're boring right?

Looking forward to the 1 week break...

Make A Difference with an Ice Cream!

A friend in Taylor's has been unfortunately diagnosed with leukemia. A bright and cheerful student, he has to defer a semester to undergo chemotherapy and possibly a bone marrow transplant. With such extensive care required, YOUR contribution is needed to help our dear friend.

We will be selling ice creams on the 6th and 7th October from 10am - 5pm at Taylor's University College to raise funds. A live band will be performing on the 6th October at the Main Campus! So please do come and buy an ice cream.

Every ice cream makes a difference

Benzyl Benzoate

I bet not many of you have heard of benzyl benzoate before right? right?
(Except for people who are crazy enough to take form 6 Chemistry like me)

There are five major uses for benzyl benzoate:

1. A solvent for various chemical reactions
2. A plasticizer in cellulose

3. As treatment for itchiness in horses
4. Food perservatives

Yet I'm under doctor's orders to be covered with benzyl benzoate, from neck down onwards, for the 48 hours. Why? Cause the 5th use of benzyl benzoate is to...

...

..

.

5. Treat a skin condition called scabies!

Yup, my whole family has it. It's highly contagious, but only to those who live under the same roof, yet outsiders may also contract it if they engage into sexual contact with a person who has scabies.

So, no sex for 2 days. Haha

On another note, MU played out to a draw at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea. In a match which I suppose Chelsea fully deserved to win. Why pay 30M for Berbatov and not provide him with adequate service? Sigh. The match was a pain to watch, with Chelsea dominating most of the proceedings.

Bringing on Ronaldo wasn't effective either

Which is why, instead of watching an insipid MU performance, I watched the mega-dual-episode-on-Sunday-finale of Moonlight Resonance!

Nothing to look forward anymore everyday at 9.30pm

Le Coq Sportif

Felt energetic today, could even wake up on my own. Probably because was all excited about the LSH & Nose warehouse sale. Didn't really give a damn about Nose la. The salesgirl had the guts to cheat me.

The place was damn packed. Its like Barcelona on a Friday night; minus the music, minus the alcohol, minus the chicks, minus the air cond. Queued for 1.5 hours just to pay the damn thing.

WTF man

Didn't know Malaysians are desperate enough like me to wait all year long till this day and buy outdated designs, meant to be cleared and defective items.

But, still, haven't burned money in a while, and there's no better way to spend it on stuff like:

My laptop fits just perfectly into this bag. Hehehe

I'm gonna whack you all in badminton tomorrow in these shoes. Hopefully.

Back from the abyss

Moshi moshi!

It's really been awhile I've posted anything here, but I've been active in the blogosphere, channeling my efforts to the NATO blog, and in the future, the TBS Accounting Club blog. Throughout my hiatus, however, Nuffnang recorded a high no. of daily visitors for the last couple of months or so. Despite stating clearly that I wouldn't be blogging on the The Lazy Blogger anymore, you still keep coming back to check for updates.

How could I let my readers down?

Right?

So visit The Lazy Blogger more often from now on.

A lot has happened.

I was down with dengue yet again. This time's worse, liver was infected as well. Thanks to those who sent countless of messages every single day. Thanks to those foreigners from Korea and Brunei who visited me. I only have 1 Korean and 1 Bruneian friend, so you know who you are la. Hehe..

However, on my 5th night at Gleneagles, I was told that another close friend of mine, who was initially suspected to have dengue, has leukemia. My fellow NATOrians kept it from me initially, as I was also hospitalised that time. I was upset they didn't tell me at first, but I could understand why. I was shocked. He was the one I worked with at Taylor's Hostel Management, together we got to know lots of new chicks. He let me sleep in his room 3 nights a week while I was working at FCUK, together we share our sad pathetic love life. He was the one who could consistently beat me in FIFA. He was the one I can disturb and whack on MSN everynight. He was the one who would molest me in lectures. Sem 3 is much less fun without him.

I barely slept that night.

On a much happier note, I've been playing badminton regularly with the guys (and girls too). Though I humbly admit I'm nowhere near as good as the rest, I've been able to form a formidable partnership with Aaron. Hehe..

And oh, I went for a Karaoke session to celebrate Aaron's birthday, 2 days after I was discharged. It was my first ever time singing K, you know. Great fun, it was. One of my happiest moments in NATO.

Sem 3 is much much tougher than I expected it to be. CPL totally sucks. A part time lecturer who seems incompetent (although he is a nice man, I suppose). FA2 is whole new story, with all its strict standards. F&I is do-able so far. QM? Easier done than said. Hahahaha.

Thanks to KG's family for the dinner. It gives great pleasure to see him cheerful and happy.

The same can't be said about Euphoria though. KL next?
