What are you guys waiting for?

Wanna study Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering etc overseas but couldn't afford to do so financially?

When questioned on the existence of a photograph
of Saiful and his (Najib’s) special officer, taken at the
office of the deputy prime minister, Najib said that the
photo was taken when Saiful had come to his office to seek
a government scholarship to pursue his studies.

Well? What are the fuck are you guys waiting for? Anyone who needs a scholarship, go see Najib! Heck, go even if you don't need one!

Who knows, you might get into the news for being sodomised. Heehee.

Reflections

And so, in a blink of an eye, semester 2 ended. I know I've said a few times that I missed Sem 1, and that Sem 2 felt like an anti-climax. But I guess overall, I had a good time. True, it was different, with the formation of NATO, we hang out more as a large group (which has its own pros and cons). Instead of hanging out with Lene, Xuan, Elizabeth, I spent more time this sem with Aaron, SK, Xin Fei... Instead of Starbucks, it was FTZ, Pyramid. Instead of arriving everyday at SS15 to hope there's a space in front of Xuan's house and risk my car being summoned, I arrive everyday hoping there's a space in front of SK's house, and risking my car being scratched. Instead of eating at Asia Cafe, we now eat at H20..

The subjects were of course tougher. I enjoyed studying under Ms. Catherine in Law, and I retract calling Malar a bitch, for despite her incompetence, self-denial, arrogance, lame jokes and starting a Cold War in our class, she made it up to me at the very last moment.

There were many firsts too. I went clubbing for the first time, I watched a concert for the first time, I gambled at a casino for the first time, I studied till 4am at McDs for the first time. All wonderful experiences, all wouldn't be possible without NATO-rians (and without a certain Indonesian too).

At the end of semester 2, I'd already be single for 9 months, which would be the longest since 2003. I guess the thrill of being single is slowly fading off. But sometimes I tend to wonder, have I lost the ability to love again.

I've realised I've been overzealous at times, and in that process, hurt and disappoint a few people who had been great to me, and were more than willing to be there when I was down. I made promises that I never fulfilled. I make appointments and never show up, I've neglected a few people and I know I wasn't like this before. But it wasn't intentional, and I'm truly sorry. When the opportunity arises, I promise to make it up.

MAHATHIR

The Perfect Song

It started out as a feeling
Which then grew into a hope
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word

And then that word grew louder and louder
Til it was a battle cry

I'll come back
When you call me
No need to say goodbye

Just because everything's changing
Doesn't mean it's never
Been this way before

All you can do is try to know
Who your friends are
As you head off to the war

Pick a star on the dark horizon
And follow the light

You'll come back
When it's over
No need to say good bye

You'll come back
When it's over
No need to say good bye..

Now we're back to the beginning
It's just a feeling and no one knows yet
But just because they can't feel it too
Doesn't mean that you have to forget

Let your memories grow stronger and stronger
Til they're before your eyes

You'll come back
When they call you
No need to say good bye

You'll come back
When they call you
No need to say good bye..

Reality Bites

Desperation pushed me to places I never thought I would go before.

Studied non-stop till 4am, from 4pm; first at the library, then at McD
(Well, not exactly non-stop, with dinner and Euro 2008 in between)

Surrounded by 3 Indonesians and 1 Bruneian,

I've never felt so foreign in Malaysia before.

Econs sucks, I tell you. Can't wait for June 27, that's when I can banish econs and that bitch Mala out of my head.

At least I enjoyed my lunch =)

Click 5 @ Genting!

After almost not making it, we finally made it! (Sorry, lacking inspiration to blog now, simple sentences will do ya) Click 5 at Genting was on the 7th of June with Vice-President Xuan, Sec-Gen Aaron, Treasurer SK, Abigail, Fish, MunTeng, Kelvin, & Fei Fei .

Bus was supposed to push off at 5pm, but er, due to reasons only known to themselves, the majority (8 of 9 NATO-rians) were late..and the 5pm bus left without us. Turned out to be a blessing anyway, since we reached at about just the right time. We had to take the 6pm bus.
This was the conversation between Me and the 2 bitches at the ticket counter.

Me : Boleh pakai tiket pukul 5 untuk bas pukul 6?
Bitch : Kalau ada tempat, bolehlah, tanya driver.
Me : Ohh..

(few moments later)

Me : Bas pukul 6 ada tempat lagi ar? Kitaorang nak beli 9 tiket
Bitch : Takde la, sudah full, next bus pukul 7
Me : Okla..saya nak 9 tiket untuk pukul 7.
Bitch : Bagi I tiket lama u.
Me : (Gives tickets)
Bitch : Nah, ini tiket untuk pukul 6.

In the end, she gave us 9 free tickets for the 6pm bus. WTF.

Kelvin & Abigail

Mun Teng & Xuan

The mist that surrounded our cable car journey

Aaron, Mun Teng, Kelvin, Xuan, Abigail in Cable Car 2

Before the show started.
We sat at the RM120 seats using our RM48 tickets. Hehe

The President & Kelvin

The Guys

The concert was fantastic! I have to admit I wasn't a big fan of them initially, but I am now.
The girls were crazy over the lead singer, Kyle, predictably.

If you look carefully, they're two 'beings' behind us in the picture.
Spooky

Ms Cheng couldn't take it anymore

SK's jacket

There wasn't any moon when we took the photo. But there is now.

Won 45 bucks at my first time at the Casino! Gambling can be very addictive though. It took great restraint to actually exit the place. The temptation was really strong. SK was literally begging me to lend him money for him to continue. -__-

A week and a half more to exam. Lets hope I won't capitulate again.... No excuses this time.

My New Baby

It has been an eventful weekend! Click Five in Genting was superb! But more on that in another post, after I obtain the photos.

Firstly, on Friday, I've finally, finally, after a long long wait, got a new laptop! And nope, it's not a VAIO, as stated in my wishlist last year, it's a HP tx2000 Entertainment Notebook PC with Tablet PC features! 2GB RAM, an nVidia (not intergrated) graphic card, Vista Premium, Tablet PC Features, and for just RM2999, (I'm paying on monthly installments) it certainly is value for money.

I feel your envy now! Hoho..

Here In My Home

Here's a special song created by Malaysians for Malaysians.
A definite MUST WATCH. Watch it. A million times.

Randomly random

How does it feel, when someone you shared your life with, is now completely indifferent about your existence?
